This vintage inspired artwork by Kerrie Gottliebsen celebrates Sunshine’s iconic Silos. The Silos had a significant role in the city’s industrial history providing critical grain storage and transport services in Victoria for 55 years. Being on the railway line, they are also a strong visual identifier for Sunshine and are much loved part of the community. Extent Heritage was recently engaged by Brimbank City Council to undertake a heritage assessment of the Silo. The Sunshine Silos artwork would make an ideal gift for lovers of Sunshine, Silos or Melbourne’s west.
