This bespoke Side Table 2# by Jos Van Hulsen constructed from steel and recycled Mountain Ash is a piece of art in itself.
This side table is one of a kind. Jos Van Hulsen has been a practicing sculptor / designer for over 30 years. His work has become a collectors item. In line with his philosophy of art being enjoyed in the everyday, Jos loves to combine his sculptural practice with his furniture design to create truely unique pieces of 'functional art'.

The Silos had a significant role in the city’s industrial history providing critical grain storage and transport services in Victoria for 55 years. Being on the railway line, they are also a strong visual identifier for Sunshine and are much loved part of the community. Extent Heritage was recently engaged by Brimbank City Council to undertake a heritage assessment of the Silo. The Sunshine Silos artwork would make an ideal gift for lovers of Sunshine, Silos or Melbourne’s west.

Of No Set Menu is a 2019, limited edition giclee archival print with an edition length of 45. This A2 print is available framed or unframed and measures 420 x 594mm. The frame is Ash wood as pictured. Please understand that the frames and prints are made to order and there can be a 2 week turnaround on orders.
Philippa work has generated much interest and has found its way into private and corporate collections. She even has two works in the National Gallery of Australia collection in Canberra, as well as her work being shown in New York City as part of International Print Week.
Philippa is originally from New Zealand where she quickly established her career in the design and fashion world. With her costume jewellery business Philippa Riddiford Accessories in New Zealand in the 1990’s, she received much media attention working with fashion magazines and the television and film industries there. She has worked with the likes of Karen Walker in New Zealand and Colette Dinnigan here in Melbourne.
In a natural progression her flair for clothing and jewellery design found a new direction in the early 2000’s with her combining of traditional art methodologies and the modern digital format.
