All funds raised in the raffle will go towards assisting a year 10, Footscray City College student, Harvey Jones-Williams, fulfil his dream of going to Africa to assist children in orphanages who have lost their parents through poverty, war and disease. The 16 students participating in the trip will be building toilets and working to raise awareness to further support these orphans. They will also going to the coast of South Africa to do marine conservation and beach cleaning with local charities.
1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners will get to choose their print, with the 1st prize winner having first choice, 2nd prize winner having second choice and so forth . . .
The first photograph 'Cohen' of poet, songwriter and performer Leonard Cohen was taken during a private photoshoot with the artist. Dimensions framed H 67 x L67 x W2cm and is signed and numbered 1.
The second photograph "An oversight Paris' is a moving image depicting homelessness and poverty in the streets of Paris, juxtaposed with advertising and high end consumerism. Dimensions framed H 56 x L 66 x W 2cm. The image is signed by the artist.
