This vinatage inspired artwork is dedicated to the amazing Uncle Toby’s Silo’s in West Footscray or WEFO as the locals call it (actually most people call it). No longer in use, the iconic silos on Sunshine Road are an absolute treasure and immediately identifiable as a local landmark of Melbourne’s west.

This vintage inspired artwork celebrates Sunshine’s iconic Silos. The Silos had a significant role in the city’s industrial history providing critical grain storage and transport services in Victoria for 55 years. Being on the railway line, they are also a strong visual identifier for Sunshine and are much loved part of the community. Extent Heritage was recently engaged by Brimbank City Council to undertake a heritage assessment of the Silo. The Sunshine Silos artwork would make an ideal gift for lovers of Sunshine, Silos or Melbourne’s west.
