This vintage inspired artwork celebrates Yarraville’s Sun Theatre. The famous inner west destination originally opened in 1938 as a single screen cinema. It forms a much loved and nostalgic part of Victoria’s cinema scene. Sun theatre first dates, children’s parties, private screenings, famous choc tops, post movie drinks at a local bar or a browse in the book shop are synonymous with Yarraville. Today it’s an eight screen cinema attracting movie lovers from not only Victoria but worldwide. Even Quentin Tarantino, Samuel L Jackson and Kurt Russell popped in for the 70mm screening of the Hateful Eight. If you haven’t eaten a peppermint choc-top, you haven’t lived. This Yarraville Sun tea towel will make the perfect gift for lovers of The Sun Theatre, Yarraville and Melbourne’s West.
