Biography

Since graduating with a Batchelor of Fine Arts (majoring in Sculpture) in 1986, Jos Van Hulsen has exhibited in numerous shows including Linden Gallery and Gallery 101 Collins Street.

Jos Van Hulsen along with his business partner Mary Long established Post Industrial Design in 1995. Here Jos’s artwork started to reflect his love of architecture and design. Working for both the private and commercial sector, Jos’s work continues to end up in notable private and commercial collections throughout Australia.

Jos’s profile as a contemporary sculptor was further recognised when he won the “Helen Lempriere 2007 Encouragement Award”. This sculpture; “Reverent Numbers”, was recently purchased by ConnectEast. It will soon be available to the public along the new Eastlink freeway.
